Supporting the integration of internally displaced persons and refugees

Civil society actors in various post-Soviet conflict zones have already gained experience in and found their own solutions to the integration of internally displaced persons and refugees. In the project this valuable experience will be exchanged between civil society organisations from Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia and the Northern Caucasus. Presentations of successful integration projects will be given and during study trips solutions will be sought to the current problems in the various countries with the aim of countering social tensions between displaced persons and host communities and facilitating a process of sustainable integration.

Activities:

  • Three study visits focussing on effective strategies for the integration of internally displaced persons and refugees in Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia
  • Publication of a brochure in four languages on successful integration projects for internally displaced persons and refugees in Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia and Russia
